Merck says Scientists were not intimidated.

In another day of compelling testimony, Merck's chief research scientist disputed allegations that they intimidated other scientists.

As Attorney Mark Lanier, the representative of Mr. Ernst's widow, hammered away on the topic, it was revealed that a scientists with a dissenting view point on Vioxx's safety was removed from the list of contributing authors of  a research report.

Attorney Lanier says he plans to introduce Merck internal documents in the trial that show a link between cardiac arrhythmia, Vioxx, and Mr. Ernst's death. Stay tuned.
