Podcasts on The Legal Broadcast Network
Sunday, July 3, 2005 at 08:23AM Everyone who is a regular visitor to our site, and now to our blog,
knows that we broadcast our live show every week both over the air from
the studios of WDIS in Norfolk, Massachusetts, but also via streaming
audio through our partners at EAR technologies here in Phoenix. It's
live, it's topical and our audience continues to grow.
However, what you don't know yet but you need to learn is that we have
launched one of the most ambitious podcasting initiatives in the
country to provide you with the most interesting and current legal news
of the day. The first part of our podcasting is just taking our weekly
shows and putting them in podcast form and streaming them out via our
RSS feeds each week, but there is a lot more coming then just that.
For a fascinating article on podcast, check out this article in the Sunday NY Times on podcasting
and begin to imagine a very near future where most of your audio
commentary and specific news is delivered to your desk top or portable
audio device as it happens, and you are able to hear from the top legal
reporters and the lawyers making the news themselves via our podcasts.
Plus, what makes The Legal Broadcast Network so unique is we DONT
charge a subscription fee, we don't make you "become a member" so we
can unleash advertisers and marketers on you, and we don't make our
legal and financial commentators pay for broadcast time to promote
their businesses instead of giving you the honest scoop on what is
really going on in the legal world. Instead you get a free, broad
spectrum of advice and commentary, all paid for by our advertisers and
sponsors so you can be sure you are getting the news unfiltered, raw
and direct and you get to comment back and join the discussion.
So, read the article, go to our podcast "how to do it" page and get started listening to our broadcasts and commentary.
