Lead paint editorial in Wall Street Journal

As many know, and won't be surprised, one of the leading commentators attacking the trial bar is the Wall Street Journal, although they do occasionally get it right, as witnessed by their objection to the recent asbestos bill they opposed.

Today's WSJ online edition has their take on a recent verdict in Rhode Island on the issue of Lead Paint, and how the firm of Motley Rice has prevailed in a suit in state court by which the manufacturers of lead paint are going to be held liable for the public nuisance and damages caused by their product.

Jan will be doing a show in the coming weeks on this case, the facts behind how the case was brought, and generally giving a more balanced view then provided by the hysterical opinion piece in the journal.
