Groundwater contamination rears its ugly head again
Friday, April 28, 2006 at 06:27PM Hot on the heels of the high profile Ashland groundwater contamination case another peaceful city is rocked by the discovery that there friendly local chemical plant has everything to do with with the high rate of cancer in there communities children. One good thing this communities has going for them is the benefit of being represented by Jan Schlichtmann of Civil Action and LBN fame.
This story has been broken to the public by the Lowell Sun and I can guarantee you that this will not be the last you hear about this inevitably high profile story. The outrage of a community who has learned that the Olin Chemical Company has been dumping byproducts in its surrounding lagoons for the past 23 years will not be silenced until they are vindicated. And rightfully so.
We suggest that you keep your eyes pealed and your ears open to innovations concerning this case that will be featured in upcoming broadcasts and column on The Legal Broadcast Network.
