The Next President and the Supreme Court

As Americans get ready to go to the polls for this historic election, voters want effective leadership. One of the most important tasks the next president will have is replacing Supreme Court justices who will be making historic decisions in the next administration.
Cambridge University historian Allen Jayne, Ph.D., author of highly acclaimed books on Lincoln and Jefferson

explains:

How our next president will grapple with two issues Lincoln also struggled with — controlling the ever increasing power of the Supreme Court and restricting civil rights for security reasons.

• How the Supreme Court is destructive to democracy.

• What to look for in the next president.

• The importance of a president’s religious views as he carries out his duties.

Dr. Allen Jayne holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University and lectures frequently throughout the United States and abroad on historical topics and contemporary issues such as the separation of church and state and the First Amendment.
