Chris Brown and Rihanna in Court on 6/22

Chris Brown is due in court June 22, but he won’t be the only superstar in the room. Rihanna will also make an appearance. Attorneys for the two singers were in a Los Angeles courtroom last week for a scheduled hearing in Brown’s ongoing felony assault case. Brown is being charged for allegedly attacking Rihanna in the wee hours of February 8, the morning of the 51st annual Grammy Awards.

 Judge Eugene Hyman is a judge of the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara (San Jose) where, for 18 years, he has presided over cases in the criminal, civil, probate, family, and delinquency divisions of the court.

 He has presided over an adult domestic violence court and in 1999 presided over the first juvenile domestic violence and family violence court in the United States
