Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 11:59AM Recognizing a growing demand among clients for the flexibility and adaptability that is often absent from larger firms, six veteran Los Angeles attorneys have formed a new Century City-based law firm. Elkins Kalt Weintraub Reuben Gartside LLP will attempt to combine big firm expertise with boutique firm agility and client focus.

"While the current economic environment has created significant challenges for many law firms, it has also presented us with a unique and important opportunity to build a different type of firm," said Keith Elkins.
The firm offers extensive expertise in the areas of real estate, finance, tax, estate planning, corporate and litigation and has an extensive roster of noteworthy clients that span a wide cross-section of industries.
"We see a tremendous opportunity to bring our deep legal experience to a smaller, more agile firm that is better equipped to serve our clients and their diverse business needs," said Scott Kalt.
"A fundamental element of our approach is to ensure that our clients receive significant hands on attention from experienced partners," said Bill Weintraub.
Fred Gartside added, "Our goal was to assemble a team of professionals who not only meet the highest standards of quality and integrity, but also possess the practical business judgment to ensure the best outcomes for our clients."
"An incredible amount of energy went into assembling the right team that is able to offer clients superior service across a variety of legal specializations," said Jeff Reuben. "Clients will notice the difference."
