Student Protesting Towing Company On Facebook Sued For $750,000

 

T&J Towing is suing Justin Kurtz, 21, for $750,000 over a Facebook page the Western Michigan University student created to protest the company towing his car.

According to ABC News, Kurtz claims the company scraped off his parking sticker so he’d have to pay $118 to get his car back, but the company says it’s not true and Kurtz is making libelous accusations that are hurting its business.

ABC News reports that T&J Towing owner Joseph Bird’s lawsuit says Kurtz is on a “crusade.”
